For towns & municipalities

Know every lot in town — and act on the ones that need it.

Small towns rarely have a planning department. Lots & Parcel gives your clerk, inspectors, and commissioners one shared, up-to-date record of every parcel, with the evidence behind every flag.

The register

Every parcel inside your official boundary, with assessed values, use, sales history, and lines from Maryland SDAT, plus FEMA flood zones, state program areas, and in Prince George's County foreclosure filings, permits, and 311 complaints. Each parcel gets a 0–100 score with the public-record reason for it.

Field mode

Inspect from a phone. Find the parcel you're standing on by GPS, attach photos, and record what you saw. Only a person's observation can mark a parcel vacant — records alone never do.

Notices that cite your ordinance

Upload your property-maintenance ordinance and approve notice templates drafted from its actual text. Deadlines are computed for you, and each notice keeps the exact wording it was served with.

How a parcel earns its score.

Public records, a reason for every point, and the one rule that matters: records alone never call a property vacant. Only a person on the lot can.

New: public records

One parcel. Every public record.

Before an inspector knocks, the parcel already shows its story: a foreclosure filed, neighbors' 311 complaints, a permit that means work is under way, whether it sits in a flood zone or a Sustainable Community. Every item is dated and sourced, ready for the clerk, the board, and the court.

  • Sales history
  • Foreclosure filings
  • 311 complaints
  • Building permits
  • FEMA flood zones
  • State program areas
  • Building footprints
  • Notices of intent

Included on every plan. Foreclosures, permits and 311 are Prince George's County today; the rest is statewide.

How it works

  1. 1

    Choose your municipality

We trace your official boundary from MD iMap and show you the parcel count and what data is available before you commit.

  2. 2

    Your register builds itself

Every parcel is enrolled, outlined, and scored from public records — usually in a few minutes.

  3. 3

    Invite your team

5 to 20 users depending on plan, no per-user fees. Admins, inspectors, and read-only viewers for commissioners and board members.

  4. 4

    Get verified, then enforce

We confirm you represent the town (automatic for .gov and .md.us email), and enforcement notices unlock.

Owner names and mailing addresses are public statewide only in Prince George's County today. Elsewhere in Maryland the register includes everything else, and you can record owners as you learn them. We'll always show you what's available for your town before you sign up.
