Lots & Parcel is a web app. Add it to your home screen and it opens full-screen like any other app, always the current version, with field mode that finds the parcel you're standing on.
Add it in two taps
iPhone & iPad
- 1.Open lotsandparcel.com in Safari and sign in.
- 2.Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow).
- 3.Scroll and tap "Add to Home Screen", then "Add".
Android
- 1.Open lotsandparcel.com in Chrome and sign in.
- 2.Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.
- 3.Tap "Add to Home screen" (or "Install app"), then "Install".
Windows & Mac
- 1.Open lotsandparcel.com in Chrome or Edge and sign in.
- 2.Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar.
- 3.Click "Install". It opens in its own window from now on.
Why not an app store? A store app would be this same app in a wrapper, a week behind. The web app updates the moment we ship, uses your phone's GPS and camera for field notes, and your IT department has nothing to approve.
- Field mode
- Tap "Here" and the register shows the parcel under your feet, with owner, status and a photo button. Your location is used for the lookup and not stored.
- Same account, same data
- Phone, tablet and desktop share one register. A note added on a walk is on the board report that afternoon.
- Works on any recent phone
- iPhone and iPad with Safari, Android with Chrome, and any desktop browser.
- Needs a connection
- Records are live, so the app needs signal. Photos you take are uploaded when you save the note.
